Answers:
your jaws get sore as hell, and eventually the gum will fall apart and nearly dissintigrate inside your mouth... that's not a pleasant taste, believe me.

Other Answers:
it gets soft, duh!

To the gum? Nothing, except that it will lose its flavour. Our body does not carry enzymes that can break down the constituents of gum, which is basically a petroleum product (rubber, etc.). The gum would also more than likely lose its moisture and become hard too, but again, it would not break down. Oh, and if you chew for long enough, you might get a jaw cramp, so be careful!
Source(s):
Me. it will melt.

your jaw will get tired and from experience as a kid the gum will dissolve. It will start falling apart.

your jaws start to hurt bad. it gets really soft and very very sticky, doesnt hold its form anymore

Could result in a ulcer in ur tummy...while chewing ur intestine prepares for food to enter but of course gum will not be swallowed..ewww!
