Answer:
Well, I have already helped you spend part of this money on stick horses.

Serve your homemade barbque *beef* and *pork* with cole slaw and baked beans and a big pot of chili.. Big Texas Bread and a few other things.. Nachos & salsa
I cook for 30 to 40 for our trial concession stand and the cost is usually around 50 bucks.
Have beer available but add on the invites that you have beer or they can BYO.
GOOD LUCK TO YOU
I would serve beef, Steak mainly.
I agree- steak/beef is great- with Baked potatoes, ears of corn, Chili, salads, Kaiser rolls, and Ice Cream treats for dessert-
Have fun!
Anything BBQ. Tri Tip sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, BBQ brisket, BBQ chicken..... For sides the following would be good Potato salad, mac salad, corn, baked beans, chili beans, coleslaw, and fresh fruit.... Hope this helps. I think you can easily feed 20 people with $100 if you do any of the following. Beef Brisket and Tri Tip are usually pretty reasonable. Oh and rolls or cornbread. Hope this helps.
seeing how its cowboys/girls
serve steak/ beans/potato
Your not going to have a great party w/100.00 only...for 20 ppl?
I would make up a batch of pulled pork-you could make ahead of time and pork shoulders are usually inexpensive and would serve a lot. Serve with rolls, coleslaw, and maybe another salad, baked potato, or corn.
Well Start with any kind of beef. Hamburger is obviously cheap, but you could also go with those huge round steaks, 1 feeds 4 people for sure. Make sure you COOK it in a way that your not feeding your guests JERKY. Chips and Salsa, Search for traditional texas dishes on the Net also. You would be surprised what you can find!! Happy Hunting. Hope this helps=)
I would do a big pot of chilli and baked poptaos and corn on the cob also do chips with salsa and 7 layer dip. For Dessert make individual dirt cakes
Make plenty of "CHILI"
First you want to decide how best to prepare the food. The problem with steaks or burgers is that you could find it tough to entertain your guests and cook at the same time, and with steaks is getting the right temperature for everybody. Ive worked as a grill cook in a restaurant and trust me nobody has the same definition of what a medium steak looks like. There are good options that will keep well in a warm oven, but burgers and steaks wont.
Best possibilities: bbq chicken, bbq pork, ribs, brisket, or chili
These can all be done ahead of time and will keep hot very well. Possible side dishes: baked beans, potato salad, potato chips, chips and salsa.
chicken is the best you could call them buffalo wings and do smokey barbecue sauce to dip in. fries and salad.
corn on the cob boiled or grilled, bbq: steak, chicken, hot links, hamburgers.
baked potatoes, baked beans, macaroni salad
pigs n a blanket : get the lil smokeys sausages and roll them up in biscuts and bake untill the biscuts are done
