Somewhere in the middle actually. It's clearly plastic when you handle it, but it has a more solid feel, appearance and durability than any cheap plastic or paper plate or cup.
It's not china, but it can be made to look like it. Cheers!
Its a thicker plastic like material. It doesn't normally crack when dropped but doesn't handle heat very well. You can't put it in the micro or dishwasher and after repeated handwashing, it starts to form a crackle appearance and eventually it crap.
