Most of them will eat anything.
Thai food.
make wings get a large bag and cook them also make a punch its ez use kool aide and icecream amd soda, have people do a pot luck , if you do a theme like a mexican fiesta ask people to bring a mexican dish, that way its cheaper and more fun if they dont want to cook they can bring chips or soda even ice
Buffalo wings and baked mac and cheese
OR
Finger sandwiches --make them on croissants to be a little different and cut them in half
Chips/Veggies and dip
Go to the local store and buy TOMBSTONE PIZZA or one you like better, make sure you buy plenty...Infact go to Wal-mart they have their pizzas pretty cheap...I know they have TOMBSTONE for $3.33 each...Serve a nice green salad with everything in it and plenty of soda...They would enjoy this better than anything else.
Clowmy
Chocolate Cake & Chocolate Ice Cream.
Have a pizza party
Try the simple things...snacks!
Chips and dip
Crackers and cheese
Pizza
Veggies
Sandwiches
Fruits
As long as there are good tunes and lots of fun going on, most people want a snack to replenish their energy, very few go for a meal.
You can buy a couple of hoagies and cut them into fourths. Buy some vegetables and cut them up. Check the deli ads and buy cheeses and deli meats to chunk up and serve.
If you are looking to do a dinner type thing then make spaghetti. You can make a lot and it is fairly cheep to make. That is why you always see some form of it at weddings and banquets. A salad on the side could be fairly cheep too and then buy some loaves of italian bread and cut them in half, butter them, sprinkle on some garlic powder and put them under the broiler until slightly golden.
A really good dip that goes along way:
the ultimate nacho dip:
1 lb hot sausage (no casings)
1 lb hamburger
1 red onion chopped
Fry in pan until cooked, add:
One envelope of taco seasoning
One jar of salsa
four to five cans of Campbells Fiesta Nacho Cheese Soup.
Stir and heat through. Serve with tortilla chips
Hot dogs are cheap. We once did a wieney roast. Open fire, sticks and all!
Stay within your budget but try to have a variety. Meat and cheese, hot dogs, veggetables and chips are usually very well recieved and cheap.
that dip recipe is also great on hot dogs!
I hope some of this is of help! Good luck on your party!
Is the time set? You can spend less by not having it at meal time. For example you can have a small afternoon party with a cake and chips and dip. Or you can fix hot dogs-pretty cheap or as mentioned earlier- finger sandwiches.Have fun!
finger sandwiches , or pizza
I would do cold meats and salads - rice, couscous, potatoe, green, chicken drumsticks, you can get lots of deals in iceland for meaty titbits. and king prawn ring only 3 pounds
veg or chicken rolls.
Pizza,chips,finger foods
Although there can be lots of general ideas like the cheese stick, shrimp rings, vetable dips, macaroni pie and cake and ice cream you should have an idea what your friend likes and be sure to serve at least six of her favourite foods. That way you will never go wrong.
Grilled brats or sausages, baked beans, potato salad. Just add a birthday cake and you are good to go. Have fun!
BEER and plenty of it!! B-B-Q burgers potatoe salad ,or pasta salad, cake and ice cream
Pizza and ice cream
cake, pizza, coke, water, beer,
Togo's/Subway has those 6 foot sandwiches, and then you add chips, fruit, and salad and its an easy party.
The greatest teenage menus are make your own sorts. Make your own pizza, taco bar, chili and fixings etc. These are topped off with a make your own sundae bar complete with bananas, toppings, nuts and homemade brownies and cookies. It is both a meal and entertainment!
