Other Answers:
BBQ sauce, or baked beans!

well i would say it depends on what you're bbqing...if it is hot dogs and hamburgers i would say chips or something. if you are doing chicken or steak i would also throw some sliced potatoes on the grill too. Fresh corn on the cob, fruit salad or potato salad.

Potato Salad

A vinegarette cole slaw is good since it will be high in acid and low in protein for bacterial growth. Also corn on the cob is always a favorite.

To many times I see high protein foods staying in the warm temperatures just waiting to be eaten and get people feeling bad. Not just that but when the ladles fall in and everyones hands are on it. Well, you get my drift, I play it safe and try to accomodate for the temperature in the summer

Cold potato salad. Or cole slaw. Baked potatoes ma'am.

Pasta salad! Its easy to make, or you can buy some in a deli. Plus it doesn't contain a whole load of fat depending on what you make it with.

california maki wrap. ripe mango, cucumber and crab sticks a little wasabe or mayo and wrap it in soft taco. its refreshing A desirable girlfriend or boyfriend.

Macaroni salad made with medium sized pasta shapes, cut up seedless cukes, diced sweet red peppers, tossed with your favorite dressing served vey cold. other options include sliced red onions, diced celery, pimentoes. (my favorite dressing is coleslaw) don't over do it on the dressing, chill overnight is optional or do it quickly in a pinch, but drain all ingredients well or you'll have a watery salad.

My mother-in-law's potato salad. My wife has tried to copy it, and she does a pretty good job, but it just isn't as good as her mother's is (don't tell her I said that). get some potatoes. it doesnt matter what kind. any potatoes are good for bbqs

My perfect side is an iced cold beer! It goes well with everything. Corn on the cob, fresh salad, sauces, chilled drinks.and of course ICE CHILLED WATERMELLON!!!!!!

A ripe watermelon, corn on the cob rubbed with butter, salt, pepper, wrapped in foil and grilled next to your meat. Cook your potatos on the grill, the same way as the corn. And you will not have to wash any dishes if you go plastic with you plates, flatware, and cups
