Oh yes, Mold is so dangerous and can cause a very bad ill effect just by breathing it, never mind drinking it. there are many types of mold and the only one I ever heard of being a good one, was the one that gave us penicillin. You better clean that pot or better yet, get rid of it.
Why in the world WOULD you drink coffee from a coffee pot that has mold? If your question is, would the heat of the coffee make the mold safe....no. Scrub the pot with hot soapy water until all the mold is gone! Be safe out there!
generally one would get sick from anyhthing that has mold, except maybe blue veined cheese!!
