You're welcome! It's priced £29.97 in the new Tesco Direct catalogue and it's worth every penny! Report It

  • You want to blend your hand???!!! Just joking..I like using the magic bullet

I bought Tesco's value hand blender recently & it's just fine. Cost less than £4 if I remember rightly.

I have the Braun MR 400 Plus. This really was a godsend when I was whizzing up food for my son when he was weaning. Fairly easy to clean but there is only one speed setting.

no, but i'll tell what not to buy...don't by the as seen on tv thunderstick....dangerous close call with blades flinging off.

I recommend a Kitchenaid hand mixer. The one I have is very powerful and can be cleaned easily. It works on everything from cold cream cheese to heavy batters.

For things like bread dough and cookie dough you need a heavy duty Kitchenaide stand mixer.

No matter which way you go... Kitchenaide is a good household brand and easy to find at Bed, Bath & Beyond, Linens & Things and most appliance stores.

    Braun multi mix, indispensable

When it comes to hand held blenders, Braun is the king. I recommend the MR4000, it has just what you need. Other models come with more attachments, but believe me you won't use them, like the ice crushing or the vacuum preserving bits.

well i have a hand one and i have had it since i have been married and that 31 years i use a Braun mine was made in Spain
