I have a Seimens freeze/freezer and it displays them on a control panel, but I never checked the temperatures on my previous one though.

Yes, I do. Used to have a knackered old fridge freezer, so now it's just habit to make sure everything is at the right temperature.

Yes, I have a temperature probe thermometer that I use at work (I'm a chef) and I often check the temp or both fridge and freezer and even my oven when I'm using it.

the frost mechanic does mine when i take it in for an mot. needed a bit of welding underneath last year and new cold fusion gaskets, i had it serviced since.
