i wouldn't say yuck but tasteless for sure. it doesn't even taste like how a cupcake supposed to be. if you wanna bake your own cupcake but do not want it to be from scratch, you can use the Betty Crocker instant mix for cake-they are better than some of the recipe you find in books
Yes, they have like a stale taste. Must be preservatives or something. Most often, fresh, homemade items taste better than the packaged or store-bought.
