No, it is not safe as you may swallow it or poke yourself . Also metals or plastics are toxic , so its better you do not. Take care.

I have a tongue ring and i crunched on it once and it damaged my teeth a little, but that was about it. If you are chewing on a safety pin, make sure you don't crunch on it or you will chip enamel off your teeth! Otherwise, i don't see a problem with it!
