Here are some friends with simlar question as we.And I have this question for many days, anyone help us?
Kitty said: Yes.Is there a battery operated product that could heat a cup of water to boiling?-I try seach this on internet but no results found.Maybe this is a stupid question.
Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(Is there a battery operated product that could heat a cup of water to boiling?),it will help you,my kids.
Answers:
I don't think so, but I'm really not sure. I've done some camping and have never seen a battery operated kettle in any stores. I think heating water requires a high amount of energy, which can efficiently be achieved from using propane or natural gas. A battery operated device would require a lot of "juice" to heat up even a small amount of water. It just wouldn't be worth it. hope you get better answers.
With a 12V battery you can.
Probably the smallest thing would be something like this:
http://www.amazon.com/coleman-water-dema...
http://www.best-price.com/procsystem,sho...
Maybe you should come up with a patent and make some money, cause is not a bad idea!
