You should always eat iodized salt. The only time I would advise you to not use iodized salt is if you constantly ate sea kelp. If you don't, please use iodized salt. Iodine deficiency is very serious and can cause thyroid deficiencies, namely a goiter. This is a swelling of the thyroid at the front of your neck that can grow to be huge and look like a giant tumor. This is the reason that iodine was added to salt in the first place, because people who do not live by the sea and eat kelp and things like that regularly were developing these problems. If you want to stop using iodized salt, I would talk to your doctor about how to supplement your diet with iodine some other way.

well your body needs Iodine but in very small amounts. Try Sea Salt instead, it has Iodine naturally and you dont have to use as much to get the flavor.
