I cut my sandwiches across, in a diagonal!. And I keep my crusts on, although I don't always eat them!.

So my answer is 'across' and 'with'Www@FoodAQ@Com
I leave the crust on, but cut them into strips, either 3 or 4, depending on the width of the bread!. It makes it much easier to eat!. (Like eating a hot dog!.)Www@FoodAQ@Com
