Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(High blood pressure?),it will help you,my kids.
my blood pressure is 161 over 89. Is that to high to be concerned about. I'm 27 and have been taking pain killers for 6 months for a bad back. Can these pills cause high blood pressure?
Answers:
you need to take your blood pressure many times and then average the numbers. one reading of 161 or 89 doesn't necessarily mean you have high blood pressure becaue blood pressure fluctuates many many times a day.
Other Answers:
dont know..ask a doctor
Yes, it is high. The normal for a person of normal stature is 120 over 80. You should definitely consult a doctor.
That is DANGEROUSLY high. See a doctor as soon as you can.
No, Don't be penic, It is not HIGH. Because If anybody is having high blood pressure then it should be 161/100 mmHg or more than 161/110 hope you will understand. DOn't go for pills in this age. Keep regular exercise and do meditation and Believe GOD TOO. God bless you.
Yes your blood pressure is high, but I really don't think pain killers would cause high blood pressure. Try reducing salt intake and cut down on caffeine. Also you probably should see your doctor about it.
I make my own juice at home in order to help my husband lower his colesterol. Here is my recipe,Carrot, apple, beet, and celery. It helps my old man a lot and I urge you to check with your doctor and phamacy, they can answer your question better.Good luck

Shaunec,
I advise you to check with your doctor. But before you do, start keeping a blood pressure journal, that is, if you are checking your pressure at home.
Take your blood pressure 5 times a day for a week.. write down your pressure reading and out beside it, write a note as to what you were doing (or just finished doing) right before you took the reading. This will help your doctor make an informed decision. They are just people and they will appreciate the help. One of the other folks who answered you is right, your pressure is high.. The top number is the one that put the flag up for me.. the bottom number is slightly elevated, but doing what I recommended you do will give you and your doctor a better understanding of your situation.
Hope this helps!!
That is not high. It is normal blood presure. For it to be high your bloo pressure will have to be something like, 200 over 189 or 161 over 161 an so forth.

its high.
check your weight.reduce it if u r overweight than normal.go to the doctor.dont eat oily foods.forget all worries.
go to the doctor must.
You are having mild hypertension. Stop smoking. Alcohol intake should be minimal . Obesity -calorie restricted diet. Salt- moderate restriction. (5gms per day.) Regular walking will reduce the Blood pressure substantially. Stress for the mind and body should be avoided. Daily at least 7hours sleep in the night and about 12hour to 45 minutes rest with calm mind will help you to bring down the B.P.
Any how consult the cardiologist to have drugs and diuretics if necessary. It is controllable.
There might be plenty of doctors in your local area. Ask them. Yahoo ain't going to help with this question, bro.
I have suffered High blood pressure for about 15 years. It would be a good idea to check your blood pressure once in the morning and once in the evening.
This will give you complete control over what you eat and what you do to activate this high blood pressure.
If it stays this high for a week. You are in danger. See a doctor.
Yes, that is high. Hypertension is blood pressure greater or equal to 140/90. But you can't just diagnose a person hypertensive in one visit, or one reading. You will have to do regular blood pressure monitoring, record time and the pressure reading. You would notice that the blood pressure you get in the morning is usually higher than the rest of the day. If on the average, your pressure is elevated, then you're probably hypertensive. Also look into family history, parents, grandparents, etc.
Regarding pain killers, if you are taking NSAIDS, such as Ibuprofen, it may cause some elevations in your blood pressure, as a side effect. But also pain in itself can cause elevations in your blood pressure too. So you have to choose, elevation in blood pressure in comfort or discomfort? This is assuming you will use it for occasional aches and pains. If you have back problems for 6 months, I think you should find the cause of the back problem and not just keep masking it with analgesics.
If I will rank your problems, top of the list should be your pressure. Each day it stays elevated, it is slowly but surely destroying your organs. Start by eating a low salt, low fat diet, healthy living, and exercise. BP monitoring. If still elevated, see a doctor. You need to start antihypertensive pills. And another important thing is, know the real cause of your hypertension, you may be having something more than what you see on the surface, you might actually be having some other medical condition, such as nephritic syndrome.
