Answers:
It is really very hard. The best way is with two people so one can hold the patient will the other works with the sheets.

Roll your patient on their side and loose the sheets from the corners then push the sheets under the side of patient. Take new sheet and fit to corners and stuff under the old sheets and patient. Roll them over on other side and remove old sheets and pull new sheet and fasten to corners.

If you need assistance I am sure your Red Cross or Hospice group in your area would show you how to do it.

Good luck

Other Answers:
I don't think you can. I'm sure you'll have to have them moved before you can change the bed.
Or you could just have them lean over to one side and lift up off the bed so you can change the sheets, etc.

Turn the patient to one side and fold the entire length of the bedsheet under him and slide half of the new bedding to cover that area. Now turn the patient to the new bedding side and remove the sheet completely while pulling the new bedsheet over the rest half of the bed. Its simple, try turning in your bed and doing the same.

This is something you learn in a course for a CNA, Certified Nursing Assistant. There is a certain way it is to be done. You can take these classes from the Red Cross or a community college that offers classes for CNA's.

Do u mean bed or bed sheet?
Well, i assume u meant bed sheet,

First u roll the patient to one side,, take of the bed sheet on the side which is facing the back of the patient. Roll the old bed sheet to the middle of the bed.

Put in new bed sheet and roll the excess to the middle.

Roll the patient to the other side, take away the old bed sheet and roll the new one's in place.

Make sure the bed sheet is taut and leave no crease.
If not, the patient will suffer from bed sore/.
