Having a period is like a tree that loses it leaves in the fall. The leaves come back eventually. Nature deems it necessary. Trees don't say to other trees, how do keep my leaves all winter long? Nature deems you have a period once a month, you should get it once a month.
Not to say it doesn't hurt, but don't eliminate it. There is plenty you can do to make it easier on you without taking meds or screwing with your physiology. When you start screwing with your physiology worse things will happen than having a period once a month.

I used Depo for almost 9 years. It took my period away. there are side effects but talk with your Dr. about it!
well, ur period is a biologically natural thing. only of u have an operation, then u would completely stop having it , but if u do that, then u wont be able to have kids
Depo-Provera birth control injections usually stop your periods.
Birth control shots work, but they have side effects. If you want to remove it entirely, have a hysterectomy. A little pricey, and removes your chance to have kids, though.
