Can you use something else in the place of white wine ( I want to do a sauce to go on plain spagetti noodles, but I don't wan't to use white wine as the recipe calls for!

Answers:
If you're looking for a non-alcoholic substitute, there are several alternatives, depending on your preference: white grape juice OR apple juice OR apple cider OR chicken broth plus lemon juice OR clam juice (in seafood recipes) OR water.

Hope this helps!

Other Answers:
find some acidic base. like small amount of vinegar or lime juice.
if you don't want to use it then don't there are non-alcohol wine in store that you can get
Use any fruit juice. I see quite a bit of recipes with orange and honey. You can also use grape or apple juice, lemon juice or lime juice.
Balsamic vinegar, apple cider vinegar.

The key in substituting wine is to add a bit of tartness and subtle sweetness to the recipe. Experiment and make the dish unique to your preferences, that's the joy of cooking, making it yours.
use lemon,lime,chicken broth
First of all why don't you want to use white wine? If it's because of the alcohol don't worry it burns off when you cook with it. You won't get drunk. If it really concerns you use a non-alcoholic wine.
You can substitute chicken broth for white wine.
THE ONLY SUBSTITUTE FOR WHITE WINE IS CHICKEN OR VEG STOCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please take the time to research that, if you add anything else it will be so weird!!!
SHUT UP
