~Just curious, but wouldn't it be easier and faster to punch into an on-line cookbook or recipe site?
No?
OK, then. I made a dip out of putrifed woodchuck and poison ivy and when I gave it to Artie on cow chips, man did he choke.
This is similar to Applebee's
In a food processor,
roughly chop artichokes, ( a jar drained)
add jar of Alfredo sauce
8 oz cream cheese (process a little)
1/4 cup of mozzarella ( I add a lot more)
1/4 cup Parmesan (process a little)
1 package of frozen spinach, thawed, drained, ( I add last to keep the spinach looking like spinach)
Put into the crockpot and cook for 2 hours. I do this one for my clients and they love it and its the easiest thing in the world to make:
California Hot Dip
- one jar spicy marinated artichoke hearts drained & rough chopped
- one small can of diced green chiles (Ortega brand)
- one triangle of Parmesan shredded
- one cup of mayonaise
Combine ingredients well and place in 9x9 baking dish and bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until top of dip is slighty browned. Serve with tortilla chips, toasted baguettes ... anything that you enjoy.
Good luck.

I'm a personal chef. This recipe takes 5 minutes at the most. It has a wonderful taste! Its only the dip. As for the artichoke, just boil it till its cooked. Take the leaves and dip it in the dip. The 'chokes have to be cooled down.
You need:
Red vinegar
Olive oil
Whole-grain mustard
Milk (or cream)
Salt
Pepper
Directions:
*Put 1 teaspoon of the mustard in a bowl with salt and pepper
*Add 3 large spoonfulls of the vinegar
*Mix
*Add 7 large spoonfulls of oil
*Mix
*Add a bit of milk or cream- not both
*Mix
*Chill before serving
PS: for the vinegar-oil ratio, think for oil, double vinegar + 1.
2 vinegar = 5 oil
5 vinegar = 11 oil
etc, etc.
Hope you like this recipe. ;) Its good for a romantic dinner...
