I recently got a sprial perm and I didn't come out like one should look.. It isn't curly at all it is just a little bit wavy even if that.. What is the reason for this? The best thing to do is to go back to the salon that did it for you. Let your stylist know that it didn't turn out good and you do not like the way it looks. Not with a perm but I had my hair hilighted and couldn't much tell it had any coloring in it. My stylist was more than glad to redo it at no charge. Be upfront with your stylist and I'm sure she'll be glad to fix it.

I would go back to the salon and complain. They should "re-do" the perm for you. Of course that's going to damage your hair a little, but there's really no other alternative.
I get a spiral perm every six months and have no problem with the curl.
you should go back to the stylist and tell her why you are unhappy and what you had expected from the results. If she is credible, she will either refund your money or offer to do it again.
several things could have caused it.
if you use something cheap like pantene or garnier it (wax) will build up on the hair so badly that it cannot be permed and color won't penetrate.if this is the case, there's not a lot you can do about it right now. you must get your hair in good shape first.sorry
maybe the perm solution didn't get to the ends of your hair because it's so long and/or thick. did she squirt the solution into the little holes of the perm rod? if this is the case then you could probably get away with doing the perm again - if it is still healthy.
if you have used anything like 'sun-in' for any of the hair on your head consider yourself blessed to not have had it melt off
