My daughter is going in to first grade...she is 6-1/2 and is 48" and weighs 56 pounds. She wears a 6X so she seems to be right on target for her age as far as weight is concerned but we have noticed that is somewhat taller than most girls her age.

my son is 6 going to 1st grade this year and hes extremly tall too... hes almost 4 feet tall but hes fat.. he weighs 100 pounds... im thinking normal weight is about 60 pounds or so...the taller they are the more you can expect then to weigh...
