Always a sit up. but when you do a sit up always do a half sit up. The reason is when you do a full sit up you tend to get a break on the top and the bottom. So a half sit with your hands icrossing your chest is the best. Put a pillow behind your back, and when you touch it got back up and before you get to the top go back down. Putting your hands across your chest makes you work harder and will not aloow you to cheat by jerking your neck. As your get better you can add a weight on yoour chess for more intense workout. The stomach is one of the only muscles your work on everyday. No matter what excercise you do your stomach muscle is used. For example when ypu force stomach is used. Also to burt more fat do the excercise a little fasterm as you get better you can always and a twist also.
