my dad sufers from diabetic neuropathy..u need to visit an endocrinologist since the weakness of he nerves is a result of long standing diabetes.the blood sugar needs to be under control..and some medicines to strenghthen nerves would help..this depends on how severe it is..go to an endocrinologist immediately..not a chiropractor..

Other Answers:
NO!

No, you need to go to a neurologist.

He may help you feel better and might help alleviate some of the symptoms but won't do anything for the diabetes itself.

Most likely, a chiropractic physician cannot rid you of this problem, but usually can alleviate some neurologic-related symptoms experienced by a diabetic.

A chiropractic physician can evaluate and treat musculoskeletal and neurological disorders through aignment of the spine, which in turn has a positive effect on the central and peripheral nervous system. However, a neurological condition which is secondary to a more severe endocrine dysfunction is better treated by an endocrinologist or a doctor of internal medicine.
