If you're getting a child just the normal way, no. If you're using IVF, I'm not sure but they might be able to cook up something for you.
There is a way to make sure you get the sex you want for your baby. They take your husbands sperm and put it in a centrifuge and spin it around really fast. Once it's done spinning, the sperm (the x and y chromosomes) are separated. I'm not sure which chromosome comes to the top and which is at the bottom.

boy sperm survives 2 days , girl sperm 4 , dep on quality of sperm too , so if hav sex near yr ovu time u hava boy .. but if the sperm is more than 2 days old u hav a girl ..
