Just substitute 1 tsp of liquid in a plain sugar cookie recipe for anise oil/flavouring.

Do you mean Anise flavor ? I never heard of black licorice flavoring. Anise flavoring tastes like licorice. I have a great recipe for a rolled sugar cookie which has Anise flavoring in it.
