Answers:
It depends.

Almost all milk comes from cows living in confined areas. The image of free-range bovines frolicking in fields is just that—an image. What sets apart the cows producing milk sold as organic is what they eat: grain that is not genetically modified and feed containing no animal byproducts. They are not injected with antibiotics or fed bovine growth hormones. If the cows do graze, they do so on land free from artificial fertilizers and pesticides.

USDA-certified organic dairy farms must provide cows time outdoors, but they are not required to graze their cows. Some suppliers, such as Organic Valley, have made a commitment to pasturing. Milk from cows that graze has been shown in USDA-lead scientific studies to be more healthful for a number of reasons. Also, buying milk from a farmer near you, and you saves fuel and help keep local farmland profitable.

The real story though is in another study done by Richard Fenske, a professor with the University of Wisconsin's School of Public Health on the effects of eating organic on children's pesticide exposure. This study showed that children consuming produce and juice grown using conventional farming practices had urine levels of some pesticide types that were five to seven times higher than for children with a 75 percent organic diet. As with all things, there are levels of risk and exposure. Some produce is practically dangerous as farmed and sold conventionally, others have practically no difference from their organic brethren.

So, is it worth it? Depends on how strongly you feel about the pesticide levels in you and your family.

Other Answers:
NOPE!

I've drank regular milk for so long does it really make a difference now? No, not unless you go totally organic in everything you eat and even then you really do not know if it is unless you raised and milked the cow yourselfand greww everything you consume.

People today tend to believe whatever is written in big letters on the package without really investigating on their own.

fermentated milk still is organic

Nah. As long as the milk doesn't come from bovine growth hormone injected cows you're ok. This whole 'organic' thing is just another 'atkins' thing. Everything is 'organic', simply to say it is implies other things are 'man made'.

It just proves the public can be fooled to buy the latest fad. I have a bridge to sell you too.

No and yes at the same time. Sometimes the body NEEDS to have organic mils, our body is worth more than a few dollars. Sometimes you think that they are taking advantage and making it tooo pricey. I think it is for children. I buy it for my daughter. There are so many hormones in the meat we eat that I like to try and avoid giving her any more than necessary. I like to buy organic whenever I can with any foods. I guess it's all about priorities. Things that are more important to use are usually worth the extra expense.

i don't see any reason to think so...

Well, the worth of something is always decided by the buyer. That's why ebay is so popular. I have seen old Halloween costumes go for $1,000 that I wouldnt have paid $5 for but they were a rare character and the person that bought it felt it was worth it.
I dont feel bottled water is worth the expense. Aquafina is made by Pepsi and contains the same water the company uses before they add the syrup and stuff to make pepsi. And yet people are buying it at $1 or more a bottle.

If you are into the organic thing and you have bought into the scare tactics and you can afford it, then it may be worth it to you. Almost all our food in supermarkets now is enhanced or has perservatives or additives. And pestisides and other stuff is even in the air now so you will get some exposure to it no matter what you do.

I find that quality of life is more important than quantity. I want to live well and worry free and if I die a couple of years younger because of that then so be it.

yes i do...and talkin of milk...yeah i can bring it
