Answers:
One that my grandmother used to make is extremely easy and kid-friendly.
Here's what you do...
Pour ginger ale in your punch bowl and add a tub of sherbert (whatever flavor you like - they all go with ginger ale). You don't even have to break up the sherbert if you don't want to - just let it float in there. It'll even keep your punch cool for a good long while.
If she was feelin' fancy, Gramma would put some grenadine in the punch, too. (Lord only knows what Grampa put in there when he was feelin' fancy...lol)
Other Answers:
"HOLIDAY PUNCH
1 quart cranberry juice
1 c. sugar
2 c. orange juice
1 c. pineapple juice
3/4 cup lemon juice, freshly squeezed
2 c. chilled ginger ale
1 pint rainbow sherbet
In a large drink container, blend cranberry juice, sugar, and other fruit juices. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
At serving time, stir in the rainbow sherbet and ginger ale.
Variation: If your crowd is over 21, you can stir in 1 c. vodka or gin for the cocktail hour. Add sugar to taste.
You can make ice cubes in advance out of any fruit juice thinned with water (3 parts fruit juice to one part water) which you have on hand."
OR
"CROCKPOT HOLIDAY WASSAIL PUNCH
1 qt. apple juice
1 qt. orange juice
2 c. cranberry juice
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 can pineapple nectar
1 cup sugar
3-4 cinnamon sticks
8 whole allspice
Navel Orange Slices
Combine all ingredients in listed order to your crockpot (4 qt. or larger) and cook on low setting for about 4 hours or until heated to desired temperature. You may also cook it on high initially for an hour and reduce the heat to save time. This reheats well for 3 days."
