I was 13 and very weight concious and learned that coffee (black) has zero calories, so I tried it with my parents and liked it. We were in a cottage on vacation in a pretty boring place so I sipped black instant coffee and read romance novels in the sun.
At 45, I still enjoy black coffee, brew Gevalia or Dunkin Doughnuts coffee. At Starbucks I have to get a capuccino because it is so bitter or acid but I still can't stand any sweetener. Our family's favorite place is Caribou, they still really brew espresso the old fashioned way and their frothed milk is like a pillow. I have maintained a BMI of 19 into middle age and I think loving unsweetened coffe helps.
I had my first taste of coffee at 11.
I began drinking it on a daily basis around 21
around 20 21 i think
My first cup? Maybe 8, thinking I was cool, started being more every day maybe 13 years old, that's around when i started to go to dennys and hang out as long as possible and smoke cigarettes (back when you still could in restaurants) and drink lots of coffee.
I was in junior high when I started drinking coffee, 7th grade, 13 years old. I know, I'm weird.
30 and still haven't started, and no desire to do so.
First sip around 8years old. I never did become a regular coffee drinker, I drink it now and then but I never buy coffee.
It seems to give me palpitation

13 and im 14 now but i dont drink it all the time just once or twice every 4 weeks. I know that coffee can mess up ur growth meaning u wont grow tall if u drink it like every day or 6 times a week or 5,4,3 times a week.
When I carried coffee in a thermos bottle, the other kids were amazed that my parents gave me coffee, that was 1948 when I was ten.
First taste was probably arount 10. I started drinking coffee regularly arount age 16.
