The instant coffee isnt as good as the brewed, so I'm thinking of getting a Starbucks Barista solo brewer. Is this a good decision for once a week?

Answers:
Even if you only drink coffee once a week, don't you want that cup of coffee to be a good one? If friends come over for coffee, don't you want to be able to offer them something other than the truly ugly taste of instant coffee?
If you can afford the Barista solo brewer, get it and enjoy good coffee, even if it's just once a week.
Life's enjoyment is made up of little pleasures, not the big things. You likely will never win a lottery, but you can certainly enjoy a good cup of coffee!

Other Answers:
got donut shop?

no, save your money, Why once a week? Why not every morning and evening?

no

do it YES. You shouldn't live without a good coffee maker. I'm a firm believer. No one should drink bad coffee once a year, let alone once a week.

get a cheap one...

Just buy a cheap small coffee maker, that should do you for the once a week thing and it is much cheaper then Starbucks. Just buy your favored blend of coffee and go for it. of course, because life is too short to drink bad coffee..;-))
a better choice would even be a peculator, because espresso beans contain less caffeine and are not so bad for the stomach...

No, get a funnel type device that will fit the top of your favourite coffee mug, put a filter in it then coffee and pour boiling water into it. Makes a great cop of coffee. I would go for a coffee press. They're smaller easier and you can store them in the cabinet with the coffee cups instead of out on the counter. Pressed coffee is even better than drippy.

what the hell
buy it if you only use it once a weak that mean it wont' get worn out and it will live longer
buy it dude

I'd get a coffee press. Grind your own beans and boil some water. No filters needed! You can get smaller presses that work great, a couple of cups of coffee max. In lieu of grinding your own beans you can get ground coffee as well. Due to some financial constraints at the moment I'm using folgers ground coffee in my press and it works well. That's what I would do.

I'm a coffee addict. The press is the best way to drink coffee that I've found to date. Mr. Coffee has alot of cheap coffee drip maker's the buy your filter's and coffee ground's! Mine favorite is the Folgers breakfast blend! Enjoy personally I've never heard of that brewer Starbucks isn't big around here yet!~truth LOL!
Keep your grounds refrigerated they keep fresh that way!

Why not, you'll be saving way more that way than going to Starbucks once a week and blowing $5. Within 4 months you'll be in the positive.
