Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(What happened to Mr Pibb?),it will help you,my kids.

Every where I look I only find Pibb Xtra. What happened to the original Mr. Pibb?

Answer:
Pibb Xtra is not the same thing - Sorry guys -

In 2001 Pibb Xtra came in to replace Mr Pibb in most markets, only select areas carried Mr Pibb, as many felt that Pibb Xtra tastes more like Dr. Pepper (it is 'spicier', and they added cinnamon and cherry flavor). Soon the original was altogether discontinued.
I am not sure where you can find the original other than Ebay. A store online that sells throwbacks (candys and other items no longer in mass circulation) www.hometownfavorites.com even has Pibb Xtra. Sorry! :(
Encyclopedia says resuraunt signs that still show Mr Pibb, are the Xtra, simply have not changed the signs
its the same thing they just changed the name
He married Aunt Jemmina and they live in the hills of eastern mo. boot heel
Pibb X-tra is the same thing a regular old Pibb (as far as I can tell) They just put the "X-tra" on there to make it seem as though it's "new and improved". The REAL question is, is Mr. Pibb related to Dr. Pepper? Are they first cousins or what? Maybe they are one in the same.....Like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Mr. Pibb is Dr. Pepper's evil alter-ego.
What I want to know is....what happened to FRESCA and TAB? THE ORIGINAL diet soft drinks!!
I've seen both Pibb Xtra and Mr. Pibb.

I still always see Mr. Pibb in many resturants in Arizona.
Dr Pepper kicked his butt down the street!
