I used to watch her "$40 a Day" show, but eventually I couldn't stand it anymore because she was so fake about every bite she took and "excitement" she showed.
I think Rachel Ray is sort of between unscripted and border line fake. I love her show on Food Network, but I think she trys to hard to come up with so-called cool words that she counter phrases herself then praises herself for making them up.

But, everyone has their own tastes, so if you don't like her, don't watch her show. Even if you don't have cable, there are at least two other things you can watch at that time of morning.

She is OK, and she turns out some pretty good stuff, and discovers some really neat places in her Travels, but her English is atrocious, very off-putting, and it destroys her credibility about everything else .... Too bad, because she really works hard to please and produce .... She simply affects me like Fingernails on a Black Board ....
