what are they like?
Answer:
i've eaten snails they r acually kinda good they taste like chicken
snails just taste like the sauce they are cooked in, a bit chewy. Frogs are good but idk how to describe it
I've never eaten frogs legs, but I've had escargot, and that was delicious - the restaurant served them wrapped in bacon, and even though it was a little chewy, they were soooooooo good.
frog legs taste like chicken and snails are chewy but in butter they taste really good
Snails, yes... very good ... all that nice chervil and butter
My guy has eaten it all.. frogs are like chicken or light fish.. and snails in butter, well he says they are good, but the butter kills the flavor of the snail which is chewy. Horse and bison taste like beef and snake is back to chicken again!
frog legs taste very similar to chicken never tried snails i love BBQ frog legs with a honey mustard sauce
Frogs legs are like chicken, and snails are like mussels, but more rubbery
I've never had frog's legs but i heard that they taste like chicken.
As for snails?Eeew!
I HAVE EATEN FROG LEGS AND SNAILS . FROG LEGS TASTE LIKE CHICKEN I LIKE THE TASTE BUT COUNLD NOT GET PAST THE IDEA OF EATING A FROG. SNAILS I CAN NOT TELL YOU HOW THEY TASTE BECAUSE ALL I TASTED WAS GARLIC AND BUTTER IT WAS GOOD
Yes, and they are very good if prepared correctly. Neither of them taste like chicken, they taste like frogs legs and snails.
I have had frog's legs in a coconut cream sauce. They had the texture of "hard boiled" egg whites, and tasted like the sauce.
When I had escargot, I thought they were mushrooms, marinated in a tangy sauce and wrapped in pastry cases. I thought they were delicious until I found out what they were.
It's been 40 years since I had frog's legs, but I remember them being mild and somewhat chicken-like - white meat with a mild, almost sweet, taste.
I've treid snails...they're not too bad. The texture is similar to that of clams.
yes frog legs taste like chicken i don't know about snails
frog legs taste like chicken. But the feeling is really different because it is very chewy and tender. I love Kung pao frog legs.
Snails... very chewy. I love escargots.
I have had frog's legs, they are sweet and mild a bit like a mild fish I think.
Also, I have had two types of snails:
1) Periwinkles - steamed and chilled and eaten out of their shell with a paper clip, these were at a Portugese restaurant.
- and -
2) Escargot - traditionally cooked in garlic & butter and served with crusty bread, eaten in Paris.
The periwinkles were sort of non-descript, but not chewy.
Now, I HAVE had chewy escargot before (other places than Paris) however the one time I ate them while in France, they melted in my mouth. I think it's all in proper cooking.
I've ate frog legs and they do taste like chicken. Never had snails and doubt that I ever will Yuck!
