Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(Do stores really add dye to meat that is old to sale it?),it will help you,my kids.

I remember hearing stories of stores dying the meat to be more attractive for people to purchase, my husband doesn't believe me..is it true?

Answer:
maybe they did in the "olden days", but now no store would risk that. it is cheaper to throw the meat out than to risk getting sued if someone gets really sick.
hmmmmm.......i really doubt that they would do that....i don't think that they would risk peoples health.
I've seen it in hot dogs, but with things like hamburger they just wrap a new layer of hamburger around it and sell it as new, who has never opened a pink blob of hamburger to find it brown on the inside. As for dying steaks, I doubt it, all the dye would spill out and stain the pan, like some hot dog water turns red or pink. besides- dye is expencive
They used to, now they treat it w/ carbon monoxide gas. It keeps the meat bright red.
Some have been caught doing so. What is a new way is keeping meat within a carbon dioxide atmosphere.
Yes they do.
