I just heard that we are getting>cheeses,condiments,spaghetti-p... sauces,noodles,boxed pizza kits,off brand sundries,laundry detergent,dish soap,sanitary fresh cut flowers among other things.Aldi does not take any coupons for $ off products.They only accept CASH or DEBIT CARDS as payment, no personal checks and they do not accept credit cards either.
I don't shop at Aldi very much.
They do not have too many named brands. They are amazingly cheap on canned goods. Their food is okay, but I am just not excited to shop there.
I only shopped there when I was in college, because they are so cheap.
ever been to a big lots? Aldi is like a grocery version of Big Lots, cheap but VERY poor quality. Avoid anything they sell 'fresh' like fruits and veggies.
Canned and frozen aren't too bad if you are in a pinch. I live about 2 blocks from one and I usually only buy shortening for frying and some very basic canned goods. really compare prices, I found that Aldis's is about the same or a little more than walmart.
I shop at Aldi often and recommend it to anyone who is on a budget or looking to try good ethnic type foods at a low cost. I shop around to get the best price but I usually shop at Aldi once a week for items to stock my pantry and bathroom!
