I have kept salad dressing up to a year after the sell-by date, although that is unusual. If it hasn't been opened, I'd think it would be good for at least six months to a year.
I would say until it smells bad, I bet a few months maybe
it's not edible. you shouldn't eat it.
Open it and take a whiff. Your nose should tell you.
Usually those dressings are so full of preservatives and "stuff" that they could probably last a year or more!
Best not to take chances though
What I do I throw away the oil on the top of the bottle, then i shake it very well,then again wait for any left oil and throw it away, then use it.
