it will spoil. You should never leave meat unrefridgerated for more than 2 hours, that is the point at which bacteria begins to grow. (same goes for dariy)

If the temperature stays above ~40 degrees then bacteria can grow. Over time that can be harmful, but will probably not kill you. I think you will know by look and/or smell if it has spoiled...
It wouldn't spoil to the point of being rotten and inedible--it would just be room temperature. Keeping deli lunch meats unrefrigerated can cause them to develop listeria--very bad stuff.
