Tonight I'm throwing some porterhouse steaks on the grill! My husband had me stop by the butchers on my way home. I'm also making baked sweet potatoes, with butter and cinnamon, and it's a toss up between steamed broccoli or baby peas. I'll ask my son what he wants when he gets home from Karate. We also always have a small side salad with dinner which includes romaine, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, and red onion.
I made myself a perfectly grilled panini with roast beef, grilled onions and mushrooms, & provolone cheese.
we made philly steak sandwiches..... topped with caramelized onions and green peppers with provolone cheese
Some soul food:
steaks smothered in brown gravy over rice, pork n beans, and green beans.
I know it may sound unhealthy but it beats eating fried foods and the steaks are lean.
cube steak fried taters cornbread vegs.
I made honey citrus glazed roasted duck with hoisin duck veloute, mashed sweet potatoes with coconut milk, and asian aromatic braised red cabbage.
