what i do is... whatever the fat content is on the label, i times that by 9 kcal (calories) for every gram, protein by 4kcal per gram and carbs by 4kcal per gram. this helps to get your calorie intake, which should be about 2000 calories per day.

look at saturated fats and energy (KJ). lower levels in both those are not so bad. A serving is what is labelled on the pack so if it says 125g and your having more add it up so you know how high in Kilojoules and saturated fat it is. Weight watchers can give you all that sort of info as well as a dietitan. High Sat. fats and KJ is BAD compare brands and get the lowest one.
