Answers:
Baked, they meat has more flavor that way. When you fry it only the outside has flavor & the meat in the inside doesn't.
Just season the meat well with some seasoning salt & garlic or salt, pepper & garlic, put in a baking pan & cover. Cook in oven @ 325 degrees. I always let mine cook for at least 3 hours. After it's cooked for about 2 hours uncover it so the outside can get brown. When it covered the mean gets tender, but it's all white & doesn't look appetizing. Also, turn the meat every hour. Once the chicken is a nice brown & the juices on the bottom of the pan have become sticky & somewhat thick it should be finish. I recommend using a disposible foil pan.

EVERYTHING tastes better batter fried. Obviously, it's more fattening.
i think fried in pan
they are equally good, depends on your spices.
I'm from the south so I have to say fried. We love our fried chicken.
Personally, I hate drumsticks (any dark meat) but I have found that the presence of sauces (barbeque, lemon, Italian, etc.) can cover a multitude of faults. (smile) Fried is the bomb! But baked is healthier.
The fried ones almost always taste better. The baked ones are good for you because you dont add oil.
Fried.. Extra Crispy
seasoned mildly and baked
fried for sure!! But, you might gain more weight than if you eat baked. it depends on how much oil you put. Good Luck!!
fried!
Here's an alternative for those high fat fried chicken lovers.

Rinse and then dry chicken with paper towels.
Add dry seasoning like salt, pepper, old bay, garlic powder, cinnamon, whatever... on both sides
Put flour in a ziplock bag and shake chicken till thinly coated
Dip chicken in beaten egg (I add a few drops of tobasco hot sauce in egg mixture) and let excess drip off
Put panko bread crumbs or substitute seasoned bread crumbs in ziplock baggie and coat thoroughly.
Heat oven to 375 degrees and cook chicken on a baking sheet for 20-30 mins until browned and clear juices appear. Use aluminum foil on the baking sheet for easy cleanup. Turn chicken over after 15 mins to brown evenly.

Chicken comes out crispy and less calories than pan or deep frying. Yes it takes longer than pan frying but the calorie savings are worth the effort.

My favorite is to put the chicken in a ziplock gallon bag with finely chopped garlic (as much as you like), chopped onion and Yoshidas sauce (like teriyaki) marinate overnight or at least two hours.
Cook at 375 degrees on foiled lined baking sheet for 20-30 mins until golden brown and sauce starts to bubble and thicken.
Serve with chopped green onion on top and pour all of that good sauce over it, mmmmm!
Cluck cluck cluck!
