I didn't think they did, but apparently they do from the above responses. Anyway, they taste kinda funky and not "really" chocolate, right? They seem more chocolate-flavored.
Make your own tootsie rolls: Melt 8 squares of semisweet baking chocolate ( 8 ounces) following the package dirctions and add to it 1/3 cup white corn syrup. Mix the two together. This will become very very thick and difficult to mix. Use an electric mixer like a Kitchenaid using the paddle attachment. So mix it on low for 5 minutes, then put it in a zip bag or wrap it in plastic wrap for 12 hours Not refrigerated! Then roll it into the familiar shape or leave it as is. Tootsie rolls are just the commercial form of something called modeling chocolate
