Answers:
Yes. My uncle taught me how to rock out great poppers. Not the traditional deep fried ones either, better.
Get fresh peppers. Slice them in half, scrape out the junk, replace with cream cheese. Put the halves back together, wrap a bacon strip around them and put a toothpick through the bacon and the poppers, so that they won't fall apart. Throw on the grill, or on a frying pan. When the bacon is cooked, the poppers are done. GOOD STUFF:)
Other Answers:
i don't. sounds tasty with a nice pale ale right now, though.
The easiest way is to buy a bag of frozen poppers & fry them in a deep fryer. Look on the Food Network web site. Emeril made some with bacon wrapped around them. Looked awfully good.
first grow a few jalepeno plants then when there are peppers take them and cut in half take the insides (seeds) out with spoon put in bowl and mix with sour cream and anything else u like ,then put the mix in the cut peppers on a baking sheet and put in the oven 5- 10 min (watch so they dont burn) ...then tell me what u think
i don't got the answer but you can go to yahoo.com or google.com and then type that question in and they will give you a homemade recipe.(L)
BACON, CREAM CHEESE JALAPENO PEPPERS
20 jalapeno peppers, halved and seeded
1-2 boxes cream cheese, softened
1-2 packages premium bacon, cut into halves
Make sure jalapenos are halved and seeded. May need to wear rubber gloves when doing this to prevent burns.
Stuff each half with cream cheese and wrap with a half piece of bacon. Cook in pre-heated oven at 350 degrees until bacon in done.
You can adjust this recipe to make as many or as little as you need. do you mean the deep fried kind or roasted?
I like to make mine on the grill. If you don't have a grill, you can use an oven at 350 for an hour.
It's really simple, just get some cream cheese, let it set at room temp to soften, let's say one box of cream cheese, 2 cups of shreaded cheeder cheese, mix those together then stuff the peppers. For some reason, you have to put raw bacon on top of the peppers while it is cooking. not sure if it is for the flavor or what, but it makes a big difference.
If you don't want to make the roasted kind, just buy some frozen kind from the store and fry them in a deep fryer. I won't spend $5 at arbys anymore for those poppers!!!!
