Look for unbruised, heavy, and bright fuschia-pink skin. You could peel the skin away pretty easily (cut a small part on top with a knive, then peel away the rest with hand) when it's ripe, and the flesh is sweet, and kiwi-alike, in texture and taste. I only tasted it once, and never bought it again ever since, because they're so expensive here, but indeed very yummy. when you cube them, it'll look pretty for garnish in drink, even in a glass of water!
