Absolutely...sometimes I pass on the sauce and just do butter, garlic and cheese. Yes, especially parmesan coz of its pungent smell and exotic taste. A little salty so you dont need to put in other flavors. I sometimes do this. Less is more as they say. Less work, but the flavor is more! Hmmm...yummy!

Both, as well as sprinkled atop pizza, and toasted garlic bread:)

Parmigiana Reggiano yes, on pizza, mozzarella.

Depends on the persons taste whether they like a strong cheese taste or not; I recommend putting the grated cheese in a small serving dish on table and let your guess decide if they wnat to try some or not. Absolutely! Pasta and cheese are made for each other. One thing you should always remember, grate your own cheese. The pre grated cheeses at the market are a convenience, but they spoil faster.

Yes but as a flavor. (Unnnless thats what you want, like macaroni and cheese. I have had delicious spaghetti w white cheese, but really it was almost cheese sauce with spaghetti in it. There were several cheeses involved.

Sounds pretty good to me.

definitely yes NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Make mine Romano! If you're entertaining, serve it on the side with a separate bowl of Parmesan as individual tastes vary.

ABSOLUTELY WITHOUT A DOUBT YES! I loved baked pastas and if I don't bake it with cheese on top than I add lots of Parmigiano Reggiano at the table.

is there another way?? i prefer fresh grated only over chunky noodles, not over spaghetti or angel hair.
but thats just me.
