I'm fixing grilled pork, mashed potatoes and gravy, and either green beans or corn for dinner? Which do you think will go better green beans or corn?

Thanks!

Answers:
Green beans - otherwise everything on the plate will be nearly the same color.

arnt they dirty

Green beans, definitely. CORN

You already have a starch with m. potatoes and you need some color so green beans.

I would go for the green beans. I think green beans are better with porc and corn goes better with chicken. I don't know why, just a preference.

Definately green beans! The first answer is complete idiocy, but cat has a great point.

if you had some lima beans you could make succotash

green beans

Green Beans - Better for you; fewer empty calories, as with corn. However, beans have a higher flatulence quotient (which is a plus, if you belong to a fraternity).

As for that pork meal . . . you already have the starches well-covered with the taters and gravy. Beans may be better for their nutritional value and digestive fiber (to unclog all that starch). It's always best to include at least one green veggie in every meal (no law against 2+ vegetables, either).

Bon appetit!

Corn all the way......you can't mix your green beans in witht he potatoes it doesn't taste as good as if you mix the corn in.... why not mix them together and do both or add carrots to and do mixed vegis

i say go with the corn, more with mashed potatoes i think,

have both!
