Finally we get a GOOD question; right up there with my pickled lambs tongues. I'm sure somebody out there has eaten kangaroo; I'd try it.

noooooooooo, did u?
Not Skippy I must add! LoL
When first opened, the smell coming from the package was very gamy, leading me to believe we might be in for an adventure. Once marinated and grilled, the kangaroo looks like your average steak tip, and I would argue tastes better. There was no gamy flavor, chewy or greasy consistency, like that in bear, and was very flavorful, like a beefier piece of steak. There were leftover medallions, that I later turned into, at the suggestion of one of my guests, pepper steak sandwiches. The tips were sliced thin and sauteed in butter and olive oil with onions, roasted red peppers and parsley, then mozzarella cheese was added and served on hamburger rolls. Very Tasty!!

Sounds good. Why don't you hop right over and fix me some? Yes I have. Didn't care for it.
no why did you ask?
Yes, Once up in New Hampshire a Friend invited me over for lunch, Kangaroo Medallions. The kangaroo is quite a different story then other meats for sure. While still better for you than beef by nutritional standards, getting past the vision of a cute and cuddly animal that carries its young in a pouch and hops on two legs rather than walking on all fours is a chore in itself. But rest assured, it is a taste to behold. When first opened, the smell coming from the package was very gamy, leading me to believe we might be in for an adventure.
