no but seems popular--found a recipe..

Mild Cabbage in Milk
This is a delicious melting cabbage dish which has a particularly English flavour.
Ingredients

Serves: 4

1 Large Cabbage
150 ml Milk ( 1/4 pint)
25 Gram Butter (1 oz)
Salt and freshly ground pepper

Bring a large pan of water to the boil. Roughly chop the cabbage, discarding the stalk and coarse bits of rib. Wash and put into the boiling water for 2 minutes to remove strong flavours. Drain and return the cabbage to the pan with the milk and a nut of butter.

Season lightly, cover the pan and simmer gently for 20 minutes, taking care it does not burn. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the remaining butter. Pile the cabbage in a heated dish and serve hot and juicy.
