Here are some friends with simlar question as we.And I have this question for many days, anyone help us?
Kitty said: Yes.Have microwave ovens been shown to cause cancer?-I try seach this on internet but no results found.Maybe this is a stupid question.
Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(Have microwave ovens been shown to cause cancer?),it will help you,my kids.
This is an ongoing debate that I have had with my family. One side says that there are studies that have shown that the microwaves cause cancer; I am on the other side which says that's not true. Just wondering if anyone knew a definitive source that would answer this for us.
Answers:
Good question. I have the same question in the back of my mind. What I've heard from my family members, one in particular who is a technology patent lawyer and perhaps has knowledge on "unpublished" or maybe ongoing studies, is that the plastic wrap used to cover the dishes is what's dangerous (cancer-causing). I don't really know how or what happens to it that causes health damages, but I try to avoid microwaving as much as possible.
I think if something makes you question the effects on your health, then it's best to take the safest route. It's your health afterall. Good luck!
Other Answers:
umm my brother went throught this too but if you look at the door you will see a screen that is full of tiny holes. these holes are half the size of microwaves keeping them from exiting the microwave. not sure of where he got the info but it makes sense
