The "pickle wrap" is a great appetizer. I love it. But, you need a tooth pick to hold it together.

Answers:
That sounds really creative. I should try that out for a party or something. Pickles are basically cucumbers submerged in marinade. Any kind works. I say it's cheaper to buy pickles than to make your own.

Other Answers:
pickles are made from cucumbers and pickle wraps are great!

nope ive NEVER had that, but you know what you SHOULD try??

buy some of those peppermint sticks (like the long ones they sell during christmas time) and sitck it in the middle of a dill pickle............it sounds really wierd and gross, but its SOOOOOOOOO GOOD!! dont knock it till ya try it!

No I haven't. And pickles are made from cucumbers and vinegar and other preservatives. You can actually make your own by cutting up cucumbers and leaving them in vinegar for a couple of days. If you want dill pickles, you probably can buy dill seasoning and add to it. I love the "pickle wrap". Pickles are made with cucumbers and a vinegar solution.

No, I have never eaten pickle in ham off the bone, but pickles are made from cucumbers sliced and put in brine( salty flavored water.) Food network.com would have the full recipe.

no but how does it taste

Never had a "pickle wrap" but pickles are fermented cucumbers. You know what else is delicious?
Add a little cream cheese to that mixture. Like, hollow out the seeds from the pickle, fill with sour cream and then wrap in ham. (Lunch meat works well, too) DELICIOUS.
And... for something a little more substantial, layer all of that on a tortilla and roll it up for a tortilla wrap.
