Yes, they're delicious served in garlic sauce Yes, i>garlic-lemon-french-butter-sau... or whatever, so why subject yourself to eating SNOT? I have had snails fried, called a conche fritter. It was delicious with the horshradish (not spelled right) sauce they served it with. Highly recommend them

I thought kinda like chicken, but then again most things taste like chicken don't they? Frogs legs are good, try them.

Yes. They are a bit chewy and have a very mild flavour - if it wasn't for the garlic sauce they're served with they would have barely any taste at all!

yea, they taste chewy Yes. They taste like rubber bands in garlic sauce. I eat them with tongs.

Yes at The Paris Mullen Rouge, My wife found that she had an allergy to them, her face swelled up in a big way and she had a major rash covering her whole body, I tried 1 and was fine, It was typically a whelk or a mussel, in texture and taste.
My wife still eats escargot from time to time and she's OK.
It must have been a bad one.
Eaten by themselves with lots of garlic.
