Can I substitute coconut macroons for the bread and use crushed pineapple or cherries instead of the raisins?

Answers:
If you are using macaroons, pineapple and cherries, I would just forego the bread pudding, get whipped cream and make a trifle by layering the crushed up macaroons, cream and fruit in a clear dish.

Other Answers:
First of all what's the point it will no longer be bread pudding!!! I can without a dout tell you No!

You could add some macaroons, but you will need a bit of bread to absorb the liquid. Crushed pineapple will be a lot more juicy than raisins so you will have to add more bread or macaroons to compensate. The cherries would work better. sure just make sure you drain them very well and dont put as much liquid in

No. you cant substitute these ingredients in a bread pudding. Dont know what it will make but it definatley wont be a bread pudding...

it wouldn't be bread pudding!
