I'm doing great on my low-carb diet but I'm starting to get bored with the same ole same ole. Got any recipes that are low carb and taste good? I would really appreciate them!

Answers:
What are you looking for, there's millions of them, not all of them very tasty though. Do you like eggs? I like deviled eggs, so if you do, take hard boiled egg yolks(4) and Dijon mustard (1teasp), mayo(1 tblsp), 1/2 teasp curry, pinch of cayenne pepper and salt and pepper to taste, mix it all up and fill the egg white halves with it. It's yummy. Let me know what you're looking for. I went on low-carb 6 yrs ago and went from a size tight 18 to a size 10 and held it for a long time. Due to some other problems I had to go off of it 2 yrs ago though and it slowly crept up on me again, but I went back on it a week ago and my keto sticks are showing that I'm doing good, so do my jeans(as of yet, a size 16 again, yikes!)
Like I said, contact me if you want to know more. We can swap recipes.
PS: you probably know this, but just substituting white sugar for brown and using different flour is NOT going to do the trick.
Wonder what people think low-carbing is about. When I'm really strict I keep my carbs between 10 - 20g a day, sometimes lower, but that is extreme.

Other Answers:
Yeah, cut out the white sugars, the white pastas, white potatoes and white rice...also bread...substitute white sugar with brown cane sugar, white pastas with whole wheat pasta..., white potatoes with yams or sweet potatoes and white rice with brown rice...as for your bread... make sure it is made with 100% wheat flour...not colored enriched white flower...all of your own recipes are great with these simple substitutions.

yes, vegetable soup

Low Carb Southern Fried Chicken
Recipe courtesy George Stella Recipe Summary
Prep Time: 20 minutesCook Time: 30 minutes
Yield: 4 servings Nutrition Info: Low Carb
3 to 6 cups vegetable oil (more or less depending on pot used)
1 whole chicken, cut into 8 pieces, or 3 pounds boneless chicken breast
3 eggs
1/4 cup heavy cream or water
Breading:
2 1/3 cups soy flour
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Place a heavy pot over medium-high heat with at least 1-inch of vegetable oil for boneless chicken and 2 inches for whole pieces. Heat oil to 350 degrees F; it is important to monitor and maintain the temperature, or the soy flour breading and your oil will burn. (Portable deep fryers at home are great for this.)
In a medium bowl, mix the eggs and cream to make an egg wash. In a separate larger bowl, mix all the breading ingredients together.
Season the chicken well with salt and pepper. Dip it first in the breading, then in the egg wash, and then back in the breading again, making sure to coat well on all sides. Pat off any excess breading and then carefully place into hot oil and fry until golden brown and crisp, just a few minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Boneless chicken breasts, if thinly cut, may cook all the way by frying alone, but whole chicken wiii not because of how fast soy flour browns. It is best to piace any chicken you fry with soy flour on a sheet pan and finish by baking at 350 degrees F for an additional 10 minutes for boneless chicken and 20 to 25 minutes more for cut up chicken pieces that have bones. The internal temperature of the chicken should register 165 degrees F. Serve immediately.
Cook's Note: Soy flour is made from toasted soybeans and has already been "cooked." Therefore it has a tendency to brown faster than plain flour when frying. Try this same breading for onion rings, baked pork chops, okra, mozzarella sticks, mushrooms, onion rings and eggplant.
